Kirsti Makinen

Kirsti has many years of experience acting for clients in commercial law as well as commercial disputes, working primarily within the Supreme Court jurisdiction. Her experience includes providing advice on a wide range of commercial issues, commercial leases and contracts for a broad range of business clients, from small and locally focused to multinational clients. Her aim is to provide honest and practical advice, taking into account the nature of each business and the client's objectives.
Prior to entering the law, Kirsti was involved in working as a freelance translator in connection with ministerial level negotiations within the European Commission, among other projects.
Kirsti holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Arts. She is dual qualified, being admitted in both New South Wales and in England and Wales. Kirsti is fluent in Finnish.
